Parkway Regional Hospital maintains a certified staff of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants who offer a number of rehabilitative services. These services include, but are not limited to: Pain and Strengthening, Assistive Device Orientation, Wheelchair Orientation, Wound/Burn Care, Progressive Aerobic Exercise, Posture/Body Mechanics and Orthotic/Prosthetic Orientation.

We are proud to offer Aquatic Therapy, offered in conjunction with The Willingham Center in Fulton. Aquatic Therapy offers an alternative treatment for patients suffering from the results of stroke, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cerebral palsy, MS, sports injuries or back/neck pain.

Our PT department also works closely with our local industries, offering their injured workers services such as work hardening and ongoing therapy with an emphasis on returning to work.

Please note, the Physical Therapy department can not initiate treatment without orders from a physician. Written orders must be placed on the patient's chart to comply with hospital policy.
